What Welsh rugby's two new faces can offer this autumn
Warren Gatland has called in two uncapped players to his autumn squad this week
You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.
That said, the squad picked by Warren Gatland for the autumn earlier this week was probably as close as you’re likely to get to pleasing the vast majority.
The consensus on social media was relatively positive. Sure, the odd names missed out, but most seemed to agree that this maybe was the most balanced squad Gatland has picked since returning to the job at the end of 2022.

And, in the form of Freddie Thomas and Blair Murray, there were even some new faces to get excited by.
The pair were both celebrating maiden call-ups this week, having taken very different routes to the Welsh squad.
But can Welsh fans expect from the uncapped duo?
