Thank you
Hello everyone,
I hope you've all recovered from Friday night's disappointing defeat to France.
This is a quick note to thank all of you for backing us and subscribing since we launched one year ago today.
The last year has been an extremely difficult one for all Welsh rugby fans, with Warren Gatland's side losing every Test match in 2024, while both the regional and women's game have continued to struggle. Throughout this difficult period we have kept you updated on the goings on behind the scenes, while also holding those in power to account.
There have been exclusive transfer columns along the way, Ben's fantastic in-depth tactical pieces (see this week’s explainer on why Wales' attack is so bad) and plenty of analysis on the more complex issues that are so important, such as Welsh rugby’s faltering pathway.
We have also consistently asked difficult questions of the WRU's leadership (as we did here), while shining a light on the various problems facing Welsh rugby. We want the sport in Wales to thrive, we want it to be better for all of us and we will continue to ensure those in charge have their feet held to the fire.
None of this would have been possible without your fantastic and loyal support over the past year.
For just £40 for the entire year (or £5 a month) you will be kept up to date on all aspects of Welsh rugby. We think it works out as great value for money and gives us the scope to spend time really investigating and probing around the stories that matter.
We genuinely appreciate all your support and will endeavour to bring you more exclusive in-depth content that really matters in 2025. This has to be a year of change for our game and we want to make sure you are informed and part of the conversation. On that note, please always feel free to share your opinions by commenting on what we write.
If you are one of our hundreds of free subscribers, we’d love for you to join those who are enjoying the full range of what we have to offer. You can become a full subscriber here.
And, if you have been enjoying what we do, we’d really appreciate you telling your friends and sharing our posts on your social channels.
Anyway, let's hope for a more successful year ahead on and off the pitch!
Thanks,
Steffan and Ben
